Arkay Inc. provides supported employment services for individuals with disabilities who require support in order to perform their employer paid job duties in community integrated settings.

This service is also aimed at preparing individuals for paid employment by teaching concepts such as problem solving, safety skills, task completion, improving attention span, social soft skills, networking, attendance and responsibility. During daytime program hours, a supervised community based trial work opportunity is offered where we evaluate to determine skill level, to identify challenges and to discover abilities and interests.

Arkay Business Development will assist with creating a resume, developing an employment plan with achievable goals, practicing interviewing skills, acquiring job leads and applying for positions at local businesses. Support is also given when following up with employers and during the interview process. And, if paid part time employment is acquired, support services will be provided during the entire orientation and training periods. After this, follow along services will be provided which continue to monitor ongoing job position progress.

Arkay supportive employment services are also for individuals with disabilities who want to own and operate a micro-enterprise. Our services in this area include assistance with creating a business plan and establishing supports necessary for implementation.
